Annual Events |
Every year we have many events to promote camaraderie and fellowship among Members of the Bar and to raise money for different charities throughout the St. Louis area. Please review the events listed below and please contact us with any questions or to obtain additional information. |
Annual Dinner
The 2008 Annual dinner and Awards Banquet was held on February 1, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clayton, Missouri. We will honored the best young Lawyer, and retired Judges in St. Louis County. You can see some of the events here on the Annual Dinner Photo gallery.. |
Bring your friends in a fun filled night of matching wits with them, and fellow members of the County Bar Association Annual Trivia Night. This great event will be held on Saturday May 3, 2008 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Clayton Missouri, in the Clayton Ballroom. Cost for the night is $20 per person, or $260 for a table of eight. The doors open and the Questions will start promptly at 7:30. Beer, wine, soda, and light snacks will be provided, however participants are encouraged to bring their own refreshments and food (pre packaged only please!). A portion of the proceeds for the night will be donated the the St. Louis Chapter of the American Diabetes Association. Annual Picnic
Our Annual Picnic is typically held in the month of June in beautiful Shaw Park in Clayton, Missouri. This year's picnic will be held on June 6, 2008. More details will be posted as they become available. If you would like to see photos from the 2007 Annual Picnic please click here |
Golf Tournament
Normally in September or October each year the Bar Association as hold our Annual Golf Tournament. This location can vary by the venues that are available for any selected dates. In 2008 we will hold our Tournament at the Norman Probstein Golf Course in Forest Park on September 19th. Click here to see photos from last year's event. |
State of the Bench & Bar
Every December we host a State of the Bench & Bar Luncheon in conjunction with annual Judicial Appreciation event along with electing next years officers & executive committee. In 2008 the event will be held on December 18th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clayton. More details will be posted as they become available. |
SPONSORSHIPS AND DONATIONS
We are always looking for sponsors and donations to keep the dues and costs of events reasonable and to provide quality events. It is also a great way to showcase your name, your firm and sponsors' names to our members and court personnel. Please give some thought to what you or your clients and friends might want to sponsor or provide donations of money or items. Examples: Trivia Night; sponsors are needed for each round of questions, donations of items for the silent auction. Picnic: sponsors for the clerks (last year was a great success and the court personnel appreciated all you did) donations of items to give out as attendance prizes. Golf Tournament: Event sponsor, hole sponsors, donations of items for the goodie bags and attendance prizes. There of course is always a donation of your time and talent. Volunteer to help with events i.e. join a committee, be and event chair, become the editor of the Barristers Quarterly, help check people in. take photographs, help set up and/or clean up, be a CLE presenter, contribute to the Barrister Quarterly, suggest projects and events, solicit new member, sponsors, donations.
