Please join us in welcoming the new Executive Director Lael Richter Simon

Lael is excited to join the St. Louis County Bar Association. Previously Lael worked for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis Lawyer Referral and Information Service for 12 1/2 years. Also, Lael has had legal positions with St. Louis law firms and corporations. She maintains an active license to practice law in Missouri. 

Lael graduated from H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College of Tulane University and Tulane University School of Law.  After graduation, Lael had a clerkship with the State of Louisiana, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal for two years and practiced insurance defense law for four years in New Orleans. 

She is married and has two children.  Lael actively volunteers for several nonprofit organizations.
