The Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel (OCDC) is the agency established by the Supreme Court of Missouri to handle ethical complaints involving lawyers. In this interesting and important position, staff counsel investigates allegations that a lawyer has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and prosecutes those cases where the lawyer’s misconduct poses a threat to the public or to the integrity of the legal profession.
Desired Skills and Experience
The OCDC is located in Jefferson City, but welcomes qualified candidates from across the state. Some travel required. While there are times when Staff Counsel would be expected to be in Jefferson City, this position allows for some remote work.
While the OCDC is an agency of the Supreme Court of Missouri, this is not a position with the State of Missouri.
For more information and application instructions, see OCDC.
